Other operating systems such as iOS and Windows 8 are expected to launch their own smartwatch versions. In fact, Apple will soon launch an advanced smart watch called Apple iWatch. Other technology makers like Qualcomm have also announced their intention to develop smart watches, making the future of mobile computing no longer entirely dependent on smartphones and tablets.
