Do it all because you love the Lord

Are you serving God because you love him or another reason for your service? Every service has rewards, but the question is, "What rewards will there be, and who will give them rewards?" Many Christians serve diligently in the country, but they won't receive God's reward because they are not because they love the Lord. And do it. This article encourages you to do everything you do because you love the Lord.

But the world may know that I love the Father, and the Father gives me the commandment, so I do it. Get up, let us get out of here - John 14:31 [NKJV].

Whatever you do, do your best, to the Lord, not to the people, knowing that you will receive the reward of inheritance from the Lord; for you serve the Lord Christ - Colossians 3:23-24 [NKJV].

We encourage Christians to believe in God first through the Word of the Lord, followed by evangelists, because this is what God has commanded. But your service will only pay off if you follow your own love for the Almighty and act according to his commands.

Many Christians serve the Father for many other reasons: to please or be recognized by some, to paint a picture of a very serious and hardworking Christian, to get help from a Christian compatriot, or to assume an authority position, and to others Exercise power. Some people even serve in churches whose main purpose is to marry someone there. Is their service to the Lord wrong? No, but their motives are wrong, so they won't get God's return. If they achieve the purpose of the service, it will be their return. However, this is not the best. God has a greater reward for those who serve them because they love him; if you love God, you will keep His commandments.

Jesus did what He commanded, showing his love for the Father and expecting us to do the same. Do whatever you do, and know that he is the repentant of those who are trying to find him.

God weighs our actions and examines our hearts in everything we do. He does not look at the outside, but the heart. You may succeed in fooling people rather than the Lord. People may reward you, but your father may refuse your service.

When Saul was served illegally because of the people scattered on him, God rejected his sacrifice and obtained royal power from his home [1 Sam. 13:1-14]. There is nothing wrong with providing sacrifices, but at the time it was not his position to do so. His motive for making sacrifices was wrong. On the other hand, Paul serves God heartily, and God always provides him and saves him from his enemies [Acts 27:23-24].

In short, don't serve in the kingdom except for any other reason you love God. Service for the love of God always attracts the Lord's consent and blessing; otherwise it is rejection and punishment. Choose to serve in the kingdom today because you love the Lord.
