Kalamandalam Kerala - Performing Arts Center

The cultural center of Kerala, Thrissur, has this place called the center. The center is located on the shore of Cheruthuruthy in Bharathapuzha [Nila].

The main center of Kerala's performing arts follows the traditional classical dance form of Keralite, and the ancient gurukula system is subject to disciplinary action. Karamandaram's team traveled to different countries to create a cultural wave through the world. They participated in different international dance festivals. Kalamandalam also hosted many students and researchers from abroad.

In the initial stage, the staff found it difficult to pay for the repairs; it was later converted into a subsidy agency that was fully funded by the government. Malayalam or Sanskrit exams will be conducted prior to admission and will be completed according to the student's abilities.
