2016 Catholic Young Adult Soccer
Catholic Young Adult Soccer (CYAS) is an opportunity for Metro Detroit Catholic young adults ages 18-35 to bond together and form relationships with their brothers and sisters in Christ through fellowship and friendly competition in the sport of soccer. It is through our personal sportsmanship that we witness Christ living in us. These teams are for everyone: from seasoned veterans to first-timers, skill level will be distrubuted evenly amongst teams. League members are asked to commit to at least 7 games. Saturday from June 4 - August 13, 2016. Bishop Foley High School in Madison Heights. Games will be played at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am. Each player must read the online CYAS Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver form at www.aod.org/cyas and by clicking on the form agree to its contents. In an effort to make our league truly coed, this year we are placing emphasis on having an appropriate ratio of men to women. Registration will open initially with enough spots for 8 teams worth of males and females (9 men and 5 women on each team). Once these teams fill, we will be able to open spots for additional teams, at a maximum of 12 teams. If, for example, all male spots are filled, stay tuned for the female spots to all fill, as this will allow us to open addition male spots. Encourage your female friends to join us this year, remember all skill levels are welcome. There are three ticket types: men, women, and man/woman combo at a discounted rate. Registration ends May 17. Refunds will not be issued after May 17. For more information contact: yacm@aod.org or catholicyoungadultsoccer@gmail.com
